"Have you considered my offer?" Mrs Edward asked Tola.

She has invited her to her office after school that day.

"I've thought about it ma, and I've decided to get justice for this girl, I'm not dropping the charges against Ryan," Tola said looking straight into the proprietress' eyes.

The proprietress stood up and walked to where Tola was sitting then she held her on her shoulder.

" if I were you Tola, I will think about this deeply. Tola, I can spoil your NYSC report, you don't know who you're messing with, I can make sure you do not get certified at the end of the day" She said.

"Are you threatening me ma?" Tola asked standing up.

"Is that a threat? Oh! I didn't know." the proprietress smiled and walked back to her seat.

"Tola, have your seat," The proprietress said, Tola sat down.
"Tola let's help each other, apart from the N100 million, I will sponsor your Masters to any school or country of your choice, I'll get you a job at the state level, I will connect you to people that matter like governors, politicians, senators etcetera, I will practically adopt you." Mrs Edward said.

"I don't need your money ma'am, money isn't my problem, my father might not be as rich as you are, but he taught me to be contented with what I have. I don't need any connection, I have a stronger connection. If you offer me the whole world, I won't accept it, my mind is made up." Tola answered.

"Really? Okay, we shall see," The proprietress said "You can go"  she said waving to her off.

"Thank you ma" Tola left the proprietress' office and walked to the road trying to get a bike, she had recorded the proprietress' voice the second time.

"That woman doesn't know anything, her son will not escape it" She said to herself.

She stood by the roadside as she search for a bike, suddenly a bike carrying two people stopped beside her, snatched her bag and zoomed off.

"My bag! my bag!" she cried and ran after the bike. Before people could gather around her, the bike had left.

 Juliet lay beside Alex covered which a duvet to her chest region, they are just finished making out. Alex was already asleep. 

Juliet could not sleep,  Alex was calling her "Chichi" when they were having sex and this annoyed her.

"Why will a man love his wife that much?" she thought.

She couldn't wait till morning to tell Kate this, she thought of calling her but what if she's asleep. 

She put on her data just then Kate's message popped up,

"How far babe?"

"Wow! She's online" Juliet whispered happily.

"I'm good you" She replied.

"How's Abj?"

"Fine o"

"Oya gist me, how's your meeting with Alex" 

"Babe, it's not fine o, I wish I didn't even come"

"Why? What happened?" Kate asked concerned.

"We can hardly hold a conversation without Chidinma's name popping up"

"Oh!"

"Yeah! The annoying part was when we were having sex, he kept calling me 'Chichi'," She typed. "Do I look like his wife?" 

"Really?"

"Yes"

"That guy is crazy about his wife," Kate said.

"Why then did he ask me to come? Is he joking with me?" Juliet asked angrily.

"That man Alex loves his wife so much, he just wants to use you and dump you, to him you are a mere sex object, Chichi is the main woman in his life," Kate said.

"But if he loves her, why is he cheating on her?" Juliet asked.

"I have no answer to that, you see that gender, they can't be predicted," Kate answered.

"So what do you suggest I do?" Juliet asked worriedly.

"We have to change our plans, we have to implicate Chidinma. Present her like she's cheating on her husband," Kate answered.

"That's a good idea, but how do I go about it?" Juliet asked.

"This is where you're closeness with   Chidinma is useful," Kate said. "Does she released her phone?"

"Yes, I even know her password," Juliet answered.

"Good! This is what you will do," Kate started.
"1. Buy a new SIM and open another WhatsApp with the new number on your phone.

 2. Save the number with a lady's name on Chidinma's phone. 

 3. Engaged in a love chat with her on your new WhatsApp, then archive the chat on her phone so she doesn't find out about it." Kate typed.

"So what's the usefulness when it's archived?" Kate asked.

"Tell Alex that his wife is cheating on him with a guy named Sam, implicate that idiot Sam too, that he saved his number with a lady's name and archived it, so he wouldn't see it" Kate answered.

"Okay, but why should I save it with a lady's name, I should just save it with Sam instead" Juliet said.

"No, save it to the lady's name so it will look real. Alex will understand that his wife is trying to hide her sex partner from him there by using a lady's name" Kate answered.

"Oh my! Sense will not kill you"  Juliet typed and Kate dropped a smile emoji.

"Just make sure the chat is implicating and convincing enough, if you don't mind I can send you a conversation," Kate said.

"Please do," Juliet answered.

"I will send it in the morning" 

"Kate the evil genius," Juliet said.

"You can say that again," they both laughed.

Isaac, Rachael and Aduke, Tola's grandparents were all seated.  Dave, Tola's fiancee was also around. He had completed his Masters and had returned to Nigeria two days before the party. Alice sat beside Tola, she was having a great time. Nike also came around to celebrate with Adewale, other families and friends had all come and they all sat at different tables.
