EPISODE 42 (Not edited)

Anabel called Chidinma the very night she got to Lagos to meet her at Alex's place. 

Chidinma took the first flight to Abuja the next day, She went straight to her husband's house, and on getting there, she saw Juliet watching TV in the sitting room.

"What!" She screamed,

"So it's true, Juliet, what are you doing in my house?"

"Your house?" Juliet raised her eyebrow, "Point of correction, this is my house, it was yours but you couldn't maintain it, you weren't sensitive enough, you misused the opportunity, and now, it's mine," She smiled mischievously,

"Juliet!" Chichi screamed. "I trusted you, Ah! My God! I should have listened to Sam," she said as tears flowed down her face, then she noticed all her pictures, including their wedding picture and her twins' pictures had been removed from the sitting room.

"Juliet where are my pictures?!" She shouted facing Juliet "You removed all my pictures, you will leave my house, you betrayed!" She said on top of her voice,

Juliet gave a loud mocking laughter,

"You're joking, right? Your time is up, now is my time." She laughed, "E dey pain her." She laughed again.

"You will leave my house," Chichi said and held her by the neck, then pinned her to the wall, "I will kill you!"

Juliet tried to talk but she couldn't, just then Alex came in and saw them, he rushed to rescue Juliet from Chichi's hand, then pushed Chichi away.

"My God! Babe, how are you?" He said pulling Juliet into a hug, then he checked her neck.

"Oh my God! Sorry, dear." He said caressing her neck. Then he told her to relax on the chair and faced Chichi.

"And what are you doing here?"

He asked, "I thought I made it clear, I'm done with you." He shouted at Chichi.

"Alex, what has come over you? This is my home, you have never brought a woman into my house, Alex This is not fair o" Chichi said with tears in her eyes.

"See, Chichi, I have no time to exchange words with you, Do yourself a favour by leaving now, else, you won't like what I will do to you," He said.

"Alex, this is me Chichi, like we were still great lovers a few days ago. What is going on, this is not my husband," She went to Juliet,

"You harlot, what did you do to my husband? This is not my husband!" She screamed with all her might, 

Alex rushed to her, took her by the hand and dragged her to the door.

"I'm not going anywhere," She said withdrawing her hand from him.

"Chichi, leave don't let me injure you,"

"You want to beat me? Alex," She said

Alex gave her a hot slap on her face and she literally saw stars, she screamed.

He punched her severely not minding where his punches landed.

"Alex, please! Please! Please! I will leave! I will leave! Please!" She screamed as he punched her while Juliet sat watching.

The gateman ran inside, he was surprised to see Alex beating his wife.

"Ah! Madam," He shouted, "Oga abeg," he tried separating them.

"Aminu leave!" Alex shouted so hard at the gateman that he trembled, he had never seen his boss in that state, something was wrong he thought.

"Oga abeg," He prostrated.

"If madam die for your hand, na another story be that o," He pleaded,

"Sweet, it's okay let her go," Juliet said.

Alex left Chidinma.

"Now get out of my house," He said and  Chidinma ran out before he could change his mind.

"Thank you Oga," Aminu said and was about to leave.

"And you," Alex said before Aminu could leave. "Let this be the last time that woman would enter into this house," He ordered.

"You mean madam, your wife,"

"Are you mad?" Alex shouted. "Are you the one to tell me who my wife is and who is not?"

"No vex oga, no vex,"

"The next time you let her into this house, consider your job gone," He said.

"All the respect you give to that idiot, transfer it to her, this is your new madam," Alex said 

"Okay oga," Aminu answered.

"You can leave,"

"Thank you, Oga,"

"Baby," He said facing Juliet.

"Yes dear,"

"I'm sorry," He said,

"It alright  dear, thanks for coming to save me, if not, she would have killed me," Juliet said

"She won't dare," He said then he looked at her sometimes,

"How come I didn't meet you first?" He whispered, "You are beautiful, I swear, I will love you till eternity" He smiled.

"I won't stop loving you too," Juliet smiled.

Chidinma stayed outside and cried, she was surprised Alex could beat her for another woman. She dialled Annabelle's number,

"Hi dear, are you around?" She asked.

"Yes, Alex beat me, he maltreated me because of another woman."

"What?! Alex beat you?"Annie asked.

"Yes,"

"Where are you now?"

"I'm outside  the house,"

"Sorry, please wait there, I'm coming now,"

Annabelle drove in fifteen minutes later, She alighted from the car and hugged Chichi tightly,

"Good morning  dear,"

She said and disengaged from the hug then she saw bruises all over her body and her face swollen 

"Oh my God! I'm sorry about everything, please forgive Alex please,"

"Alright dear, it's fine,"

"Let's go in," Annabelle held her by the Hand and went to press the bell. Aminu opened the gate.

"Madam, good afternoon," Aminu greeted Alex.

"Good afternoon Aminu, Is my brother in?"

"Yes ma, Oga dey inside,"

"Okay let's go in," Annie said to Chichi,

"Ah!" Aminu shouted,

"What's wrong?"Annabelle asked surprised.

"Madam no vex, oga talk say make I know allow her enter this house again if not, hin go sack me,"

"What nonsense?!"Annie shouted angrily, "Is Alex alright at all? What kind of order is that? Don't worry Aminu, I will sort it out, let's go in," 

Aminu prostrated immediately,

"Aminu, what are you doing?"

"Madam, I get wife for house, I get five pikin', if oga sack me, all of us go die of hunger."

"Chichi, please stay in the car, I'm sorry please," Chichi said facing Juliet,

"I won't stay long,"

"Ok, Thanks dear," Annie opened her car, led her to the car, and put the AC on.  "Relax here, I'm coming."

Annie went in and knocked on the door.

"Who is there?" Juliet's voice came from inside.

"It's me," Annie answered.

 Juliet came to open the door,

"Good morning," she greeted

"Morning," Annie replied,

"Who are you? And how may I help you?" Juliet asked.

"I should be asking you that question, Who are you? And what are you doing in my brother's house," Annie asked going in.

"Oh! You're Annabelle, I've heard a lot about you," Juliet smiled.

"And I've heard nothing about you, so I'm listening," he said raising her eyebrow.

"I'm Alex's new wife"

"Oh! interesting! When did he marry you? Who came to ask for your hand in marriage? Who paid your bride price? Alex did that all alone?" Annie asked.

"No, I mean I'm his fiance and we plan to get married soon," Juliet replied.

"Oh! Just a minute ago you were his wife, and now you are his fiance, I'm surprised Alex brought in a confused woman," Annie chuckled 

"For your information, you can't marry my brother, he is married with two beautiful girls," 

"Well, I'm already married to him, deal with it," Juliet answered,

"My brother will not marry a prostitute,"

"What's going on here? Why are you harassing my babe?" Alex asked coming out of the room.

"Alex, so it's true, you beat up your wife and brought a prostitute to your matrimonial home!"

"Wife?! I didn't beat my wife, Babe did I beat you Alex asked facing Juliet.

"No dear," Juliet laughed as she made fun of Annie.

"Alex, what has come over you? I'm talking about Chichi, not this 'thing' here"

"Oh! That? I'm done with her, I already told my lawyer, she will get a letter soon,"

"You bitch! What did you do to my brother?" Annie asked punching Juliet.

"Annie, what are you doing?" Alex said trying to rescue Juliet and he succeeded.

"Annie, please leave!" Alex said hugging Juliet,

"Alex you're telling me to leave your house?" Annie couldn't believe her ears, "A house where I spend weeks with no one disturbing me, I can no longer stay up to an hour? Wow!" she clapped her hands.

"Annie, you're making noise, this is an estate, please leave," Alex came again.

"What if I refuse? You are going to beat me too? It's fine, I will leave, but I'll be back!" She said.

Annie moved to the door and opened it widely, Suddenly she ran back and slapped Juliet hard on the face and then ran off before Alex could react.
