 Juliet had just arrived in Abuja, she had told Alex she wanted to spend the weekend with him. They both agreed to meet at the hotel he lodged in the other day. She got to the hotel reception.

"Good afternoon," she greeted the receptionist.

"Good afternoon ma'am, How may I help you?" the receptionist asked 

"I'm here to see Mr. Alex," she replied.

"What's your name ma'am?"

"Juliet,"

The receptionist dial a number on her telecom.

"You have a guest sir... Ms Juliet... Okay sir" the receptionist dropped the caller

"You can go ma, room 301, the first room on the third floor," 

"Okay, thank you," Juliet said and left.
She got to the room, it was the same room he lodged her the last time she came, She knocked. Alex came to open the door, they embraced each other.

"You are welcome," He led her in.

"Thank you," Juliet smiled.

"What's with you and this room?" she asked.

"It's a VIP lodge, I just like the room, this is where I lodge anytime I come here," he answered.

"You practically rent this room," Juliet laughed.

"No, come on!" Alex joined in the laughter.

"That reminds me, thanks for the shoe once again," He said.

"You've said that a million times, Chichi is my friend, so it's nothing," she answered.

"Can I ask you a question?" He asked.

"Yeah, sure,"

"I notice you and Chichi are very close, why are you dating her husband?" Alex asked.  

Juliet was taken aback, she wasn't expecting the question.

"She's dating my boyfriend," Juliet answered without thinking.

"Sorry, I didn't get that," 

"Your wife is dating my boyfriend," Juliet answered.

"That's not true, my wife is not lose, she can't do a thing like that," Alex answered.

"Check her WhatsApp archive, there's a chat there, She saved the person's number with Joy, I was searching for something on her phone when I saw it, she used a lady's name so I won't know, It was the phone number and profile pics that make me realise what she did," Juliet said,

"My own Chichi," Alex asked surprised,

"Yes, initially it was Sam...," 

"Which Sam?"

"That black guy in our Lodge,"

"Pastor Sam?" He asked

"Oh! That's what you call him?" 

"Yes, Chichi has told me a lot about him,"

"Yes, he's a pastor, but Jesus didn't tell him not to sleep with another man's wife," She scoffed,

"Stop!" Alex said with his eyes closed, The word 'sleep' didn't go well with him, he rested on the bed, he imagined Chichi in bed with another man.

"Can Chichi cheat on me?" He thought, and he sat up again.

"Are you sure of what you're saying?"

"Yeah, I tried talking to her concerning Sam, she said you are also cheating on her,"

"Oh! It's revenge, I see!" Alex said, 

He stood up and went to stand by the window.

"I don't believe this, Chidinma will never cheat on me," Alex said.

"Check her phone whenever she comes home," Juliet answered. "I even have an evidence on my phone," 

She stood up and showed him the video of Sam and Chichi, which she captured a few months back.

"Why is he wrapping his hand around her like that?!" Alex asked angrily, he went back to sit on the couch with his head in his hand.

Juliet went to sit beside him and held his hand. 

"Alex, I'm not a loose woman, I'm not dating you because your wife is dating my boyfriend, the reason why I accepted your proposal is because I love you. I really do, Kingsley no longer has my time since your wife started following him, I have since then been lonely, but since you came into my life I felt loved again, I love you, Alex, I do love you," Juliet said.

Alex looked at Juliet for some time, he had never loved another woman since he met Chidinma, and he didn't want to lie to her. He held her hand and squeezed it gently. 

"Juliet, I like you, You're beautiful and endowed you're one of the most beautiful women I've ever met, but I'm sorry, I love my wife so much I can't trade her for anything in the world," Alex answered.

"She's cheating on you and you're cheating on her," Juliet said,

"She's only trying to revenge, I've hurt her so much, I'm not a good husband, I've shared my body with thousands of women, we will sort it out, I love my wife, I'm sorry," Alex answered.

Isaac, Rachael and Aduke, Tola's grandparents were all seated.  Dave, Tola's fiancee was also around. He had completed his Masters and had returned to Nigeria two days before the party. Alice sat beside Tola, she was having a great time. Nike also came around to celebrate with Adewale, other families and friends had all come and they all sat at different tables.
