"Wake up, Jonah's sister" Madam Pat said waking Fehintola.

"What's the time?" she asked jumping up from bed. 

"Ask your watch, sleeping head" Madam Pat replied. 

"it's past 8, will you get into that bathroom and take your bath" She shouted almost immediately 

"Oh my!" Fehintola sprang out of the bed

"Good morning Big Mummy" she said rushing into the bathroom

"Good morning dear, be fast, I will go set the table now" Madam Pat said leaving the room.

Fehintola hastened up and saw her dad sitting at table "Good morning dad", she hugged him 

"Good morning my baby, you woke up late, hope no problem

 " I slept late,"

 "Oh! my baby was imagining what camp would look like , I can relate" her dad laughed while she giggled, covering her face. "Eat your breakfast, so that Henry would drop you"

 "No dad, I will get something on the way. I've missed the first bus already"

"No, you are going to sit and eat, you have missed about three buses already, this is to 9, I will tell Henry to take you there" He smiled at her.

 "Really? thanks dad." she embraced him tightly.

"Don't choke me to death o," They laughed "You know this man is now old, he's no longer as young as he used to be" he said she took her seat right beside him. 

"That's not true, my dad is the youngest in this house, my sweet sixteen dad" They laughed again.

"Just like I said last night" He started, "The temptations you will face within this one year will be more than that of the university days, this is the time to prove that you're a Christian"

 "I won't let you down dad, Just don't stop praying for me" 

"I won't dear " He smiled. Fehintola rushed the breakfast of slice bread with tea, 

"Big Mummy!" she shouted 

"Yes dear" 

"Where are you? she moved to the direction of the voice then she saw her coming down the stairs, "I'm about to leave" she said, hugging her tightly 

"Safe journey dear, remember the daughter of whom you are" Madam Pat said tearfully, 

"Come on mum, I will be leaving for just one year, she said wiping her tears. 

"It's know , just be good"

"I will mum" they both held hands to the pack , she hopped into the car , off they went , she turned back to see her father and Madam Pat waving at her, she waved back till car left the compound. Immediately the security man locked the gate behind them, she started missing them , this was the first time she will be leaving without them. she was  going to miss everybody in that house.

Adewale, her father was many things to her, her father, her pastor, her best friend her gist partner, she doesn't hide anything from him from her first mentrual period to the first man that asked her out and many other things, she's so free with him and Madam Pat on the other side is the mother she never had, apart from the fact that she had been the one taking care of her from day one,  she also raised her till this point, so she calls her mum and Big Mummy at intervals.

 They got to Lagos State around 9pm in the evening due to so much traffic they encountered on the way. They both lodged in an hotel for the night,  "I have to leave" Henry announced, the next morning after dropping her at the the NYSC orientation camp.

"Okay! Thanks Uncle Henry"

"You're welcome dear,"

 

"My regards to everyone at home" 

"I will" He smiled and drove off.

Fehintola went to join the other corpers and at the camp and did all necessary registrations. After about five hours she got a bed space, she decided to check her phone, she saw 28 missed calls . "Oh my! Her father alone had called her about 12 times, Madam Pat, her grandmother and David her fiance had called.

The first person she  called back was her dad.

"Hello Daddy! she said.

"Thank you Jesus, where did you drop your phone? I have been worried" Mr Adewale replied from the other end.

"I'm sorry dad, it was in my bag, today was hectic, I had issues getting a bed space, I was on my feet for hours.

I'm tired right now" 

"Sorry dear , just shower and get something to eat, and go to bed, remember daddy loves you" 

"Thank you Daddy, I love you too sir" she said passionately.

"Good night my baby"

 "Good night Daddy " she smiled!

Then she called Madam pat, and the others, the next day, They were woken up by 5am for early morning exercise, this continued for the three weeks she spent at the camp after three weeks, of waking up early, queuing to bath, she decided to lodge in an hotel for a week to relax. 

Every other coper had moved there a week earlier, she went if you could still get a room, if not she will leave to rent  an apartment on getting there, she saw some guy's outside, she greeted than politely.

"Good afternoon sirs"

"Good afternoon ma" they also replied her in the same accord.

 "I was directed here, is there any room?" 

"oh! No! but if you don't minds having a roommate, we can help talk to the ladies here"

one of the guy's replied "oh! she stood for some minute 

"Holy spirit, what should I do? You asked me to come here but there's no more space" she thought.

"I have directed you here far a reason, go on and share the room." 

"Thank you Holy spirit" She smiled

"Okay sir, let's go and meet the ladies" she faced the guy. .

"Come with me"

"Thank you sir!"
