The news of DORA's DEATH spread like wild fire. People mourned the demiss of that beautiful angel.

At school, the principal blamed herself for sending dora home for fees. She so much pleaded with her not to send her home, her daddy would pay.

DORA was to represent her school in a debate competition come next term. Her fluency in english and british ascent was something else.

She hoped to be a barrister. All these dreams have been cut short.

Her father could not hold back his tears. Why now he has been promoted as SENIOR DRIVER? BENNY gave his daughter a befiting burial but AUNTY PEACE DID NOT ATTEND. She does not know where her husband and sons are. She was kept in the dark all through the preparations of the burial and after the burial.
infact, people said nobody could eat the food that was prepared. Every one was in tears.
She was the choir leader in her school. A JSS 2 STUDENT. Friends talked about how nice DORA is. The burial was a very emotional one. The PRoprietress of the school gave a Warning speech with tears in her eyes.

"Women! Women!! Women!!! we really be careful. (sobbs)why trade the future of your children for fashion. why use your children's school fees to buy clothes? because you want to belong? because you want to be on? by putting off your child's future? and by the child being sent out of school?

My principal told me how she begged and begged that day. If only we knew that the father provided the money but the mother used it on clothes. what nonsence!!!

Now the future of this rare gem has been cut short. you use their school fees to buy clothes and you sent them to hawk for you? what is going on? what is this world turning into?

The funny thing which is rather painful is, this careless mother has lost the chance to be called future MAMA LAWYER. Back in the days, our mothers sold their wrappers for us to be like or if not better than our peers. It is a pity that is present world is void of virtuous women the bible talked about".

Her speech moved so many to tears. Benny did not go back to that house anymore. He took his sons away. He went to her people and told them he is no longer interested in marrying their daughter.

AUNTY PEACE was arrested by one of the people she was owing. she stayed in the police cell for 2months.

AUNTY PEACE returned from police cell looking so rough. She was given an autmum of 2 weeks to pay back all she was owing about #200,000.

She started selling properties. First she sold their 42inch flat screen television, their Generator, washing machine, gas cooker, cushion, almost all the valueable in that house. She was able to raise #150,000. The remaining #50 K was like a problem. She started selling her clothes to raise the money which she did.

Aunty peace was no longer slaying. The three bedroom flat was as good as empty. She had no money to feed and no one in that commmunity was willing to give her on credit any more.

She went to a schhol that needs the services of a NANNY. The head mistress asked her some questions.

---You are welcome madam. i'm sure you know what this work implies?

----yes ma, Aunty peace replied. It's to sweep, give the children food, snackes and drinks.

----it is more than all you just mentioned here.The headmistress replied. I belive you are a mother, and you have kids. you will have to treat the pupils in this school like they are own biological kids. Most of them pooh on clothes, you are to wash and keep them neat. You should be here by 6.30am to make the day care bed, and keep their room clean.

Your pay is #20, 000.

AUNTY PEACE thanked her and left. She resumed work the next day. Her first day at work, one of the day care attendants needed her attention. Her name is nurse shola.

---Madam, please come. baby martins needs to change his diaper.

---EHEN? Aunty peace replied rudely. Change am na. shey you no dey busy. i still dey wash towels for dinning. do that one please.

-----i am feeding a baby and the smell from baby martins is disturbing the other babies. Please kindly clean him up now.

---You dey craze. u no geh respect abi? if you no go clean am, stay like that. wetin sef, i've not finished one, you are sending me another one. abeg no disturb me.

Shola ringed madam's office immediatly and complained.

AUNTY peace rushed into the day care ward as soon as she sighted MADAM and carried BABY MARTINS.

Peace, she called .what is your problem? why are you refusing to do your work?

--me? nooo. madam, no be the pikin ah dey clean like this? this shola just want to disturb you ma.

----Shola, The headmistress called.please be sure of things before you give uncertain reports.

--madam she.....

----Hold it there. the next time this repeats it's self , you will be thoroughly dealt with. (She took her leave. Nurse shola could not imagine what just happened. Aunty peace burst into terrible laughter)

----onye ofe mmanu, (yoruba girl) zekwam oooo(stay away from me). abeg gimme wiper.

-----You think you are smart, i will deal with you. (she handed over the wipe to her) you must wash the baby with warm water after wiping. Get the warm water from the water dispencer. please use the baby tub.

-----For what? me, i will never put my hand inside person bum-bum o. which kain nonsence be dawan? ah think say nanny work na to sweep and clean. This washing of bum-bum tire me o. ah no go wash anything o .(she will clean and spit, shout chineeeekeeee and tufiakwa, push the baby anyhow, the baby started crying) abeg shut-up joor. your mama just dump you here, do shakara waka go. Na me go con dey clean your nonsence shit.

--Aunty peace what is wrong with you? are you possessed? why are you treating the baby like that. please get out of here.

---(laughter) oh, make i dey go? make ah no clean again? WAKA. both for you and that your useless madam. chai, this life eheee, a whole me? baby oku, Asa nwa, now a nanny. if i just manage collect this month money, una no go see me here again. ndi ara.

just on the first day at work, AUNTY PEACE showed pieces of herself.

That same day, a child went into the rest-room. When she was done and was about going back to her class, AUNTY PEACE shouted HEY, WAIT THERE!!!
