Harry and Rogers walked into the hospital room. Kemi was about leaving. She had waited for Rachel to fall asleep...

Kemi nearly bumped into them. She was surprised to see Harry. She did a little mind calculation.

" This desperate guy pulled Harry down to this hospital to take Rachel. Why this desperation?"Kemi reasoned

This got her so mad and pissed off at Rogers. Her intention was just to take Rachel back home without contacting Harry again. She didn't have kids so Rachel would be a good companion.

However, the scenario was about taking a different turn, Harry coming into the picture was a clear indication the stranger may get Rachel.

" Why are you so desperate to have her?"Kemi Challenged him

" I want to give her a better life" Rogers replied

" I can give her a better life!"

" As a maid? "

Kemi was caught off guard...

" My thoughts exactly... I am offering her the chance to be my daughter. I will give her good education and a good future!" Rogers said proudly giving his last words to Harry.

Harry was suddenly torn in between the two adults who were behaving like school children...

" Erm....erm" Harry started stuttering.

" You don't have to stutter Mr Harry. Name your price, everyone has a price. 3 million, 4, 5, 7 million? Name it!" Rogers asked

Kemisola turned ninety degrees to face him in disbelief...

" You are worse than I thought. Is this some art exhibition where auctioning is taking place? You want to buy a human being? Oh ! Now I get who you are; a sex starved widower who needs some young blood to warm his bed. Gush! To think I actually saw your handsome face and thought good of you without knowing you are nothing but trash!" Kemi said in a rush

" Trash? Is that my description or yours? You just shot yourself in the leg woman. You said it yourself! In the midst of everything going on, you still had the mind to check me out, you still noticed how handsome I am... Now tell me ? Who has a trashy mind?" Rogers said

" You! For thinking I was checking you are out, you are trash!" Kemi said

" Mr Harry, I believe...with this bad mouth of hers, it is evident, Rachel will grow up to be a disgrace to womanhood " Rogers said facing Harry

" And If you let her stay with him, Rachel will be sexually harassed, molested by this old ugly pervert" Kemisola said emphasising the UGLY.

Harry closed his mouth that had been opened wide for the past few minutes, he swallowed hard before saying....

" I am so exhausted by your bickering I cannot think right now but for Starters, Mister...I do not know you, so giving her to you will be a great undoing on my part. For all I know, you could be a pedophile or a ritualist."

" Awesome! Finally there is a right thinking man here!" Kemi said

" Madam...Can you please be quiet. Rachel is sleeping and we are here discussing her matter like she is a product." Harry said angrily at Kemi while trying to keep his voice low.

" Fine!"

" I am sorry if you find my words offensive, but that's the truth! If you need a maid or a child as you prefer to call it, I have young boys who I can give you"

" I don't want any other person, I am particularly interested in Rachel because of her suicidal tendency."

Kemi eyed him maliciously...

" And you Madam... I don't think I want to leave her with you either, like he rightly said earlier, when I was on the phone with him, Rachel left your home to commit suicide, I am imagining the kind of words you must have said to her judging from the words that has been flying across the room in the past few minutes..." Harry said very bluntly to her

Harry walked away from the two....

Followed was silence, so thick you could slice it. It was a time of reflection in both interested parties.
