The driver of the approaching vehicle was slowing down as he saw Rogers flagging down the vehicle...

" Where to?" The driver asked

" The hospital Over there!" Rogers said as he couldn't remember the name of the hospital

" N500!" The driver replied

Rogers knew the price was ridiculous, but he didn't have an option, besides Five hundred Naira was nothing to him.

" Ok!"

Rogers tried opening the door but the handle didn't cooperate.

" Give me a minute, I have to come open it with my key. " the driver said.

The driver alighted, walked to the other side of the car. With the ignition key, he opened the passenger's door.

" You need a new car, bro!" Rogers joked

" Yes I do! " the driver replied laughing.

As Rogers got into the Car, the driver locked the door.

A sudden vibration went through his body from his head to feet.

Rogers knew something had gone wrong, he looked at the driver who was getting into the car...

" What have you done to me?" Rogers said

" Ha! Ebora ni mo gbe sha!" ( I have carried an abomination)

" Wetin you wan use me do...?" Rogers asked. His strength was leaving him

" Baba! Na hustle your boy dey. I no know say you be Oracle!" ( Sir, I am just hustling, I didn't know you were a powerhouse)...The driver said in fear.

Rogers knew his charms he had acquired back in his school days as a cultist still had its protecting powers, but he could not ascertain the potency level. He had not gone back to renew the fortification, so he could tell whatever was hindering the charm from paralyzing him totally, would wear out soon.

" Open the door now, and let me out!" Rogers said mustering all the strength from within

" Baba... I can't...Mo sorry gan. Only two slots ni mo ni for today, I can't waste one because of you!" ( I am sorry, I Can't. I have only two slots for today)"

Rogers saw it coming; Sleep was overpowering him.

The driver made a U turn instead of driving towards the hospital .

Pastor Greg was praying for a Miracle Car that would take him home. He didn't have any transport fare on him and the clouds looked like they were going to pour down some heavy rain upon him.

" Swallow your pride and return to the hospital" The voice within him kept insisting.

" No way! God, people must learn to respect men of God! Let me teach the man a lesson. He and his wife must come to my little house and beg me." Pastor Greg said

" Disobedience leads to Destruction...Remember Jonah"

" God! there is a difference between myself and Jonah. Jonah did not go to where you sent him, I went but I was despised." Pastor Greg argued.

The Inner Voice went silent.

Pastor Greg saw a car approaching... He flagged down the vehicle.

The driver saw another person flagging down his car. Today was his lucky day.

He slowed down.

The driver looked closely at the man, he had a Bible under his armpit.

" Not another spoiler! God forbid!" The driver said increasing his speed...
