Rachel woke up sweating....

Her regular nightmare had haunted her again...

Somadima!

No! Redemption and Somadima....

" Redemption ...Why do you still haunt my dreams? It's been 7 years...I believe I have paid for my sins! I almost killed myself today. Out of my Parent's children, I am the one who didn't complete secondary school. I am the illiterate, I am the outcast, yet you haunt me..." Rachel said to an empty room.

Memories came flooding back...

Somadima, Redemption and Rachel were best of friends as teenagers.

Redemption was the only child of her aged parents and that made her have everything she ever needed at her fingertips including boys...

Somadima was their male friend who the two girls loved to death. Rachel remembered how they did everything together from when they were 10 years old till the silent war began when they turned 14....

The obvious storyline happened among them. She had feelings for Somadima, but Somadima liked Redemption who liked another boy....

Rachel did everything to gain Somadima's attention but Somadima made it clear with his actions that Redemption was who he wanted to be with.

Rachel decided to leave them to their happiness. Despite being best friends she gave them their space.

Then luck decides to shine on her, when Somadima realized Redemption was not into him...

He shifted his attention to Rachel and their friendship blossomed..

Out of blues, like every love triangle, Redemption got dumped by her boyfriend. She ran back to Somadima giving him all the attention he had been yearning for....

Like a flash, Somadima went back to kissing her feet and ignoring Rachel...

Rachel remembered how she had confronted Redemption...

" Redemption...why are you doing this?"

" What ?"

" Taking away Somadima!"

" From who?"

" Me!"

" You?"

" Yes, when he liked you, you didn't like him, and suddenly when he started liking me, you breezed in again"

" Well, I guess he likes me more...sorry about that!" Redemption had said walking away...

Kachi had walked up to Rachel....

" She doesn't care about your feelings..."

Rachel knew Kachi was bad influence. Kachi had always shown hate for their friendship and Rachel knew it was best to avoid whatever she had to say but the betrayed part of Rachel gave Kachi her listening ears...

" You can take him from her?" Kachi continued

" How?"

" Give me the Job and I will do it..."

" What will you do to her?"

" Something that will make Somadima not look at her again but his attention will be to you alone"

" How?" Rachel asked

" Let's destroy her face!"

" Kachi! No! Redemption is my best friend!"

"Rachel...please come to my house later this evening...there is something I will like to show you!"

Rachel could tell that going to Kachi's house was going to be a bad idea but like the popular saying; curiousity killed the cat in her, because What she saw at Kachi's made her become a beast.....
